My sincere condolences to Muriel's family and friends. I met Muriel many years ago when I worked for the Dept. of Family Medicine. She was such a dedicated nurse. When she took on the thankless task of Discharge Planner, Muriel worked tirelessly to help improve the patient flow and she did it with grace and skill. I considered Muriel a friend, always exchanging at least a quick smile and often taking time to catch up, as our paths crossed. Rest in Peace Muriel.

Ricky and Family
Kim and I and family are so sorry to hear of Muriel’s passing.
She and Dad lived a rich life together, full of adventure and fun albeit it was sadly cut short. We shared many memorable family times including a visit to NZ and travel together. Muriel was an adventurist at heart and had a great zest for life, to learn and love. She will be missed.
We will miss the visitation as we are in Spain but know that we are thinking of you and family and sending love.

Dear Rick and family.
I was deeply saddened to hear about your mother’s passing. She was truly a wonderful person, and I will always remember her with fondness. Although it has been many years since we’ve seen each other, I had the pleasure of bumping into your mother around the neighborhood in Millidgeville in later years. Her resilience, zest for living and kindness were so inspiring to me, especially as I faced my own challenges. She had such a graceful and strong way of handling life’s pressures and unimaginable deep personal losses, and I will always admire that about her.
Please accept my condolences for your loss. I hope she is resting peacefully now, and my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Ricky and family,
We are deeply saddened to hear of Muriel's passing. As Mum's lifelong friend, Muriel is like an aunt to me and my sisters. I remember doing aerobics in the living room with her to a Jane Fonda tape! Dear Ricky and family,
I’m so very very sorry for the loss of your Mom who was a truly wonderful and remarkable woman. Your obituary and memorial video are a fitting and beautiful tribute to a life lived to the fullest.. even amidst unimaginable loss she found her way back to joy and hope, why the lyrics of the The Rose couldn’t be any more perfect . As a lifelong friend to Mom, Muriel felt like family to me. I have many lovely memories of hikes though the snow with her and David, walks around the Irving Nature Trail and Rockwood Park, ski trips to Sugarloaf, out on a Friday night in Saint John dancing ( she and my Mom would always jive together… they could DANCE!) Family dinners, Mother’s Day brunches , Scrabble game nights, movie night. As a medical intern at the Regional I’d often see her and Mom rushing down the halls in their white uniforms, off to care for another patient who needed a life saving IV.They’d let me sneak in to the nurses lounge where we’d have a giggle and a coffee..always brightened my shift. She was always up for anything, full of vitality and laughter.. but did not shy away from a good debate with her sharp wit and intellect, about the more serious side of life. She was the whole package, truly. She will be missed immensely and always remembered . Hugs to you all.
