Obituary of Peggy Bustin
It Is with great sadness that the family of Margaret “Peggy” Lillian (Clark) Bustin announces her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Born in Saint John, NB, on January 16, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Herb and Kathleen (Mawhinney) Clark.
Peggy enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was active in Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she participated in both the Church and Friars Choirs. Peggy loved spending vacations in Florida with family and friend and spent 36 years with Baxter’s Dairy. She was the guiding light in the family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Peggy leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Robert Bustin; children, Tasha Rocca (John), Brad Bustin (Jan Adams); brothers, Reg Clark, Charlie Clark (Gloria); sister and best friend, Kathy Moore; grandchildren, Dominic Rocca, Ella Rocca, Adrianna Rocca, Kristien Stewart, Justus Adams, Dravan Adams; great-grandchildren, August Stewart, Acacia Stewart, Hudson Adams, Everleigh Adams; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her sisters, Colleen Howe, Shirley Arthurs, Eleanor Rowe.
The family would like to extend a special appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit (3BN) at The Saint John Regional Hospital.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from Hillcrest Baptist Church on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Reception will follow. Donations in memory of Peggy may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or Hillcrest Baptist Church. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
