Obituary of Janice Anne Dickie
With heavy hearts, the family of Janice Dickie, wife of the late Edward R. “David” Dickie for 60 years until his passing in 2023, announce her passing on Monday, December 9, 2024, at her residence in Shannex Tucker Hall. Born June 8, 1943, in Brooklyn, NS, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Hilda (Faulkner) Weagle.
Janice is survived by her loving children, Marianne Dickie (Wayne Moran) of Hampton and Tim (Cindy) of Grand Bay-Westfield; grandchildren: Stephanie Campbell (Jason), Allyson Shannon (Kurtis), and Brandon Moran; great-grandchildren: Ethan, Brantley, Aubrielle, and Aliyah; sister-in-law, Jane Windsor of Halifax; niece, Cailin Winters of Enfield, NS; aunt-in-law, Grace Woodman of St. John’s, NL; as well as many cousins.
Besides her parents and her beloved husband, David, Janice was predeceased by her sister, Lucille Enslen.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), where visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 12 pm until 2 pm, at which time the service will begin in Brenan’s Chapel.
