Obituary of Lois Eva Biddiscombe
It is with great sadness that the family of Lois Eva (Pyne) Biddiscombe announces her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Born in Truro, NS, she was a daughter of the late Sterling and Jean (Boreland) Pyne.
Lois leaves behind her daughter, Leigha Byers (David); sister, Diane Johnson; brother, Doug Pyne (Cathy); special grandson, Tanner McCarty, grandchildren, Steven Byers (Rania), Sara Byers (Anthony), Brittany Byers (Rene); great-grandchildren, Lola, Brooke, Lily, Nailah: as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois was predeceased by her husband, James “Jim” Biddiscombe; sister, Joyce Breau; and infant grandson, Dennis James “DJ” McCarty.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from the Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in St. Augustine’s in the spring. Donations in memory of Lois may be made to the Breast Cancer Society or to a charity of donor’s choice.
