Obituary of Glendon Lloyd Ellis
It is with great sadness that the family of Glendon Lloyd Ellis of St. Martins, NB, announces his passing on January 4, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born October 26, 1939, in Shanklin, NB, he was a son of the late Charles and Frances (Patterson) Ellis.
Glen will be profoundly missed by his son John Ellis, daughter Anne (Steven) McPhee, brother Charles (Dawn) Ellis, granddaughter Rebecca (Justin) Sherriff, grandson Andrew McPhee, great-grandsons Jackson MacNamara-Bowland and Avery Craft, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be lovingly reunited with the love of his life Barbara Ellis, parents Frances and Charles, brothers Frank and Lester, and sister Margaret Monteith.
Glen loved cars, fishing and spending time at the camp. He began his career as a mechanic and then worked many years for Kathron Construction. In his retirement Glen loved spending time watching NASCAR and meeting friends for morning coffee at The Station.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). In keeping with Glendon’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time.
