Bernard & Elizabeth Cormier posted a condolence
We were very saddened to learn on Ron's passing and extend out heartfelt sympathies and condolences to his family and friends. We have many fond memories of Ron through his involvement on the Board of the Saint John Community Concert Association, as well as his presence at the Cathedral every Sunday at Mass. Both he and Elizabeth were such beautiful people and we always enjoyed seeing them dance to the Thomists' Dance Band. We will miss Rom dearly. Our caring thoughts and prayers are with all, as you reflect on his life and contribution to his church, education, the arts, and his community. Most sincerely,
R

Angela, your dad was an amazing teacher from when he taught at Simonds High School. All the students, teachers, friends, who knew and loved him. Ron was such a charming man, always had a lending ear to listen to you when you had a problem or just to listen. I had Mr. Horgan as my homeroom teacher for 2 years. He was the best. He will be greatfully missed. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

Your Father was a great man. Soft spoken, wonderful cook and family man. We had many conversations and wonderful visits with his touring of his home and his family recipes of which I will cherish. Our last visit was filled with laughter, great conversation shared over a glass of red wine. My condolences to you and Gregg, Andrea and Christopher. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Angela: I love this Pic of your Dad, that is how he looked when I had him for a Teacher, 50 years ago at Simonds High School. He was Amazing, so Caring and Kind. He treated all of us the same. He had a concern for everyone and always took the time to chat if needed. Not only was he concerned about you as a Student but as an individual. I would run into Ron on occasion over the years and he always took time to Chat. Inquiring about the Family and myself. Always amazed me that he could remember everyone's names. I know he left a lasting impression on me and I will never forget him. He will be missed by many. Sending Love and Prayers to you and your Family

Angela, you probably don't remember me or Maureen, but I had the privilege of teaching with your father for 11 years at Simonds High. He was a wonderful teacher who was loved by his students. Although Maureen and I were 20 years younger than your father, we nevertheless considered him a friend. We remember well the dinner party that Ron and Elizabeth had for us. A great deal of wine was consumed because your dad filled our glasses faster than we could empty them! We fondly remember your dad and extend our sympathy to you and your family.
