He was always a friend of mine, and as I too was an Air Traffic Controller in Saint John, and as well in Moncton, we worked together at different times over the years. Pete Fenety was a big man with a big heart. He loved my sister and his family more than words could ever say. Pete was a good man. He loved to laugh and tell the occasional joke or two. He was the big brother I never had. He probably never knew how much I appreciated everything he did for me when I was young.
