I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to Gail's family and loved ones. I was deeply saddened this week when I learned about her passing in 2010. We were classmates for at least one year in Chatham; I believe that it was in Grade 6 (72-73) ... as I only attended Grade 7 from September 1973 until December 1973 before having to move to CFB Gagetown/Oromocto. I still have a class photo; although I can't locate it at the moment. I remember that my Dad, Adrien Therrien, who was a Dental Hygienist, had seen Gail's father Albert for a dental appointment on at least one occasion.
Ironically, my brother Pierre worked at the Saint John Regional Hospital for many years as a Medical Physicist. If Gail received radiation therapy, he may very well have been involved in her treatment program. After attending Mass this afternoon at my parish here in Markham, (Ontario); I lit a candle in her memory and said some prayers.
