Sharon, Steven and family, I was saddened to hear of your mom's passing. She loved you all so very much and was bursting with pride when she would speak of you. Mrs. Murphy was one of my "favourite" adult friends, always kind, bubbly, and genuinely interested in what I had to say. She had the ability to make a person feel that they were the only one in the room and had the quality of making one feel great about themselves. I know the closeness you shared and the great loss you will experience. I also know that you have many fond memories that will hopefully provide you with some solice as you grieve her loss. Those memories will eventually bring light to your days. As I think of the celebration you are having today in your mother's honour, I know she will be smiling upon you and singing along with you sippiog her cocktail as she reunites with her friends and family. Your mother was blessed to have such wonderful children who were also her friends and you blessed to have the mother and friend that you had in her. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
