Sammy, Doug Trecartin, Peter Leggett and I were in grade one at King George School. While I didn't see him often in recent years he was always a friend. RIP Sammy!

Sad to see the obituary of my boy hood cousin. I never had a brother and Sam and I were real buddies playing on cardboard boxes from the Bakery sliding down the hill off Chesley street behind our grandmother house where we stole apples from her tree but they were still green. We would build forts with old Xmas trees . Since I moved away from Saint John I lost touch with Sam and most of the relatives except Richard and Lynn . I also was sad sad to see Elizabeth had left us I am glad that I got to see and talk to her at my fathers funeral back in 1992. The boys at King George that was mention were also our play friends.I almost got to Davids wedding reception but my in laws were having a family dinner and I regret not going.

For our dearest Uncle Sammy WE HAD A WONDERFUL UNCLE, One who never really grew old; His smile was made of sunshine, And his heart was solid gold: His eyes were as bright as shining stars, And in his cheeks fair roses you see, We had a wonderful uncle, And that's the way it will always be, But take heed, because He's still keeping an eye on all of us, So let's make sure He will like what he sees. God Bless, from Nephews Steven (Susan) , Michael (Cheryl, and Nieces Claire and Tanya
