Dave was such a friendly man. In our Best Years Fellowship family, the highlight of the year for Dave was the train ride that Mrs. Irving so thoughtfully provided in the autumn. He would board with a model train car or two, always ready to educate us in such an interesting fashion.
I was also in his Sunday School class for a time and to hear him read the scriptures always was a blessing. How happy he must be to have finally "reached the station" and ended the journey!
