Obituary of David Rene Gauthier

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of David Gauthier at his home, Kennebec Manor, on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Born in Saint John, NB on January 11, 1935, he was the only child of the late Rene and Frances (Mosher) Gauthier.

David was a quiet man who could make friends out of strangers. When you met him – you liked him. He was an avid collector of model trains and was always willing to share his abundant knowledge of trains with anyone who would listen. David was proud to be a long time member of the First Wesleyan Church.

David is survived by his close friends: Lloyd and Ginny Teakles; as well as the many other friends he made throughout his journey of life.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with David’s wishes, no visitation will be held. A graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 2 pm. Those who wish to attend are welcome.
