Please accept my sincere condolences as well of those from the staff at Leisure Time Sales. I had the pleasure of getting to know Ron when he took his travels to the road in his motorhomes. Always kind and a gentleman, we enjoyed his visits to our store in Hammond River after his winter trips and his tales of adventure on the road.

He was a great guy and didn’t mind when I listed his boat as a Slow 24. We had great laughs in the boat yard. Rest well Ron old friend

Very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He led a good life and was admired by me and I'm sure many others. Although I didn't have the opportunity to see him often as we lived on opposite coasts he was often thought of warmly and I know he was much loved by my mother Lois.

So sorry to hear this news. Ron was a great friend to me and my children and their father, Michael Tamblyn. So many fond memories of sailing with him on Gannet IV, the beautiful Vertue that he lovingly maintained for many years. Ron taught me and my son MacKenzie how to sail. He was a patient and wise mentor to me in many, many ways, and a wonderful part-time “great uncle” to my children. We never had the pleasure of meeting Ron’s family and send them our deepest condolences. Also sending condolences to his very close friends, the Traftons and the Moores. Love and hugs to all of you!

I didn’t have a lot of memories of Uncle Ron but the ones I had we’re favourable. My mother Lois Jobb spoke of him often, she loved her brother Ron. Condolences to the family at this time.
