Interment
Obituary of Valorie Perkins
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Valorie Lynn Perkins which occurred on Monday April 27, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 28, 1956 in Sussex, NB, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Frances (Douthwright) Perkins.
She was a member of the Wirral Baptist Church, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking and other crafts, playing her DS, listening to music (especially the Gaither’s) and loved kinder eggs, (not the chocolate but the surprise inside).
She is survived by three sisters: Linda (Stephen) Perrin of Clarendon, Judy (Raymond) Morrow of Alberta, Sharon (Kevin) MacLennan of Nerepis; uncle: Ron; aunts: Georgina and Sybil; several cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by brother: Harold.
Special thanks to the staff and residents of Murray Street Lodge for their loving care over the last 13 years. Also, thank you to the Doctors and Nurses of 5CS, SJRH for being a huge support over the last two weeks of Val’s life.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424). Due to the ongoing public health crisis there will be no public visiting. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
