I am so very sorry to hear of Colleen's passing. We worked together with the Federal Government, both starting our careers in 1976. Colleen was a very quiet, gentle and kind person. After my retirement, it was always a joy to run in to Colleen and her best friend Faye. I loved to hear of their recent trips and their plans to visit more distant shores. We have lost a truly lovely person and she will be missed by all who knew her! My prayers and thoughts are with her family and dear friends. RIP Colleen

She always had a wonderful sparkle in her eyes and was a pleasure to know. Special thoughts to you Faye....always such fun to hear about all your adventures together.❤

Colleen was a treasured childhood friend. I have many fond memories of neighbourhood sing songs on my grandmother's (Baba) swing chair, corn boils, and climbing trees. Colleen was always a good sport even if the tree climbing was a bit risky for her.
Colleen was a gentle spirit, very soft and kind. She was a provider for her Mom and sister, walking to the Dominion store to carry home groceries. In later years, I was fortunate to rekindle our friendship as Colleen learned to knit.
Rest now my dear friend.

Thinking of my wonderful friend Colleen, we met as children and played together in our neighborhood - later we connected as adults you were always pleasant and we enjoyed time when we could - a few road trips - one to McAdam with other childhood friends - a gathering at my Sister Maura's with friends from away - we were knitting buddies and your memory was quite impressive recalling dates and remembering times and events in our childhood that I had forgotten about - only to have Colleen give a detail description and both having a good laugh over it. I enjoyed the time we had - - I will miss you very much - rest easy! You are at peace - love you - forever in my heart - Brenda
