When Burt served as Plumbing Inspector we had a great relationship. He was knowledgeable, fair and well respected. I always enjoyed our long talks on cottages and the outdoors. Condolences to the family, he will be missed. Melanson Plumbing & Heating Ltd.

We will miss our friend and neighbor Burt. We enjoyed listening to stories of the olden days when his father delivered milk for the city with horse and carriage, especially the time when he was in the General Hospital having his appendix removed (at age 5) and taking comfort in seeing his father from his hospital window deliver milk in the early morning hours I loved stories of Young's Cove and of those when he stayed at his grandmother's house on Kennebecasis Island when he was a boy. He cherished Young's Cove and he especially enjoyed hearing stories of his granddaughter's time there. Many years ago..(almost 20yrs) Burt came to my rescue on a dark evening when the valve blew on my hot water tank. It was dark and I was running to a few neighbors for help. Thankfully he answered his door. Burt was smart and witty up to the end. We will miss him and remember his stories.

David My deepest condolences, May your many memories of happier days help to sustain you during this very difficult time. Many memories of all our trials and tribulations when we fought for and obtained a safe and happy home for Alex and Alan back in the 80"s and subsequent successful battles with government to keep Independence Plus operating..
