When I was a young child, Claude and his brother Martin came to visit his cousins and family in Ontario (Hamilton / Stoney Creek) Ontario. We knew they both had a special gift of storytelling and Claude had extra musical talents and so we gathered family and the kids from our street to listen in for a fun night of enjoyable entertainment in our living room. Between him and Martin many memories were made that evening; memories that the kids that were there that night still remember that magical charm of theirs to this day. I remember them playing and singing one song that I will forever always think of them when I hear it: The French Song. We visited New Brunswick when I was 11 and got to visit with family there. Sadly I don't think I have seen him since then but the good memories will live on. Condolences to all his family. RIP dear Claude, I will never forget you.xoxo

It was an absolute pleasure to help care and serve Jean Claude his meals in the dining room at St.Joesph’s hospital...he was always so kind and generous to all, often ordering pizza for the nurses on night shift and stuffing chocolate bars in my pocket for cleaning his room...he would go down to the vending machines in the cafeteria and come back with a cold Pepsi for me without ever asking for it....I was so sad to hear of his passing and will fondly remember his kind heart and generous soul....I missed him when he was discharged from the 7th floor of our unit...rest peacefully Jean Claude, you’ve earned your angel wings ❤️
My sincere deepest condolences to the family !

Hi Josh it's your cousin Joseph john claude soucy. You were a baby when I met you. I saw your post and wanted to tell you. The whole family loves you and wish the best for you. I promise you our grandfather was an inspirational man. He lost more than I've ever seen a man loose but always kept going.

I was a care giver to Jean Claud and with that gave me the pleasure of getting to know him. He was so funny and sweet . The last time I worked with him he came out of his room with a freshly made salad for me. He was always looking out for us and trying to care for us . Tonight I work and its lonely without him here . I miss you already JC ! I'm glad your suffering is over and may you rest in peace ❤
