Obituary of Jean Claude Soucy

With sadness the family of Jean Claude Soucy announce his passing which occurred on Monday, August 10, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.  He was born in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec.

Jean Claude was predeceased by his father, Lee Soucy; mothers, Madeleine (Derappe) Soucy and Brigette (Lollinville) Soucy; sisters, Jacqueline and Germain; first wife, Nancy McKay and second wife, Linda McMoran.

He will be lovingly remembered by his three brothers; five sisters; four sons, Chad, Justin, Vance and John; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jean Claude was an electrician by trade.  Family and friends will always remember his quick wit, charming ways and his love of singing and playing the guitar.  He will be dearly missed. 

In keeping with Jean Claude’s wishes, all services will be held privately.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). 

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue.
