Dear Rod and Family,
I would like to send my sincere condolences. I just heard of Margaret's passing today. I worked at UNBSJ for many years and knew her though her work with the union. She volunteered tirelessly for many years negotiations, executive and with the Christmas party and many functions put on by the union. In my later years with UNBSJ I moved to the library and got to know Margaret better. She had a great sense of humor and was a very compassionate person. People loved to stop by Margaret's desk to chat. She was a great listener always interested in what was going on with you. She also loved to give you an update on her grandkids her pride and Joy. She was very proud of her boys. I was surprised and very sad to hear of her passing.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to your family. I worked with Margaret for 6 years at the UNB Library. We would spend lots of time chatting and she was always happy to hear about my family, and spoke proudly about hers. Heaven just got a little bit more fun now that Margaret's there!

My sincere condolences to you. I knew Margaret as a valued co-worker at the UNBSJ Library, and a fellow trade unionist with lots of energy to share with those who needed her help. It was obvious that she was very devoted to her family. I always admired her unflinching honesty, you always knew where you stood with Margaret.

My name is Mary-Kathryn Whitney and I worked with Margaret on InterCampus Loans. I was based at Harriet Irving Library but Margaret and I spoke frequently on the phone, and I saw her on my occasional trips to Ward Chipman Library. Margaret was an amazing person, and just wonderful to work with. I left InterCampus Loans to work in the HIL Cataloguing dept around 2000. I have such fond memories of Margaret, and I am just crushed to hear this terribly sad news.I loved Margaret's frank and sensible nature, her excellent work ethic, sense of humour and kindness. She will be greatly missed. I am so very sorry for your loss. I am sending my deepest condolences.

My husband, Barry LAVINE, & I drove across the country the summer of 2017 to bury Barry's Momma (Flo). While we were there I had the the great honour of meeting the LAVINE /GRAY/SCULLION clan, as I was a newly married member into the clan, at a family BBQ. You can see Auntie Margie in the second photo just behind Barry's head, she's wearing a purple shirt. What a beautiful way to meet them all. Food & Love!!! The third photo of the Siblings - Frank, Margie, Diane and Bobby was taken September 2018 when Barry & I flew to N.B. to move Dad (Frank) out to Victoria with us. Rest In Peace Auntie Margie. <3 Our heartfelt love, condolences & prayers to our East Coast family. Barry, Bev, son Tyler, daughter Bailee, her partner Jason and their two sons - Madden & Max.

To all the Gray/Lavine family,
My heartfelt condolences to all on your loss.
I met Marg while working at WCL in the '80's. I'll always remember
when we would celebrate Marg's birthday that "she was the 7th child
born on the 7th day of the 7th month". Cherish your memories & she
will live on. Hugs, Sally
