On behalf of the staff and the Board of Directors of the New Brunswick Museum,
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to Jennifer and the rest of the family, on Tom’s passing.
He was a very familiar sight at the New Brunswick Museum, particularly at the Collections & Research Centre. He always had a ready smile, a cheerful greeting and a story or two. It was always fun too, to see him in the parking lot in summer time in his convertible with the top down, and the grin was even wider.
We will very much miss seeing him.

Dear Carreen, Jeffrey, and Jennifer,
We are so very sorry to have lost a lifetime friend in Tom.
He truly was one of the real Gentlemen in our Community Although our paths didn't cross as often in recent years, we were on each others minds a lot as we shared so many memories. Today, many of those memories are flooding back. None more so than the wonderful visit, Tom, Bob, and I shared just a couple weeks ago. Looking at the picture we took that day, we were not prepared for the loss that was imminent.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Brice and Cathy Belyea

Dear Careen and Family,
As a former "South Ender" and organist and choir director at SASD Church, I want to express my sincere condolences to you and your family. I certainly feel that I have known Tom all of my life. In addition to that, as organist/choir director at SASD Church for several years I know how hard he worked at the church too. Tom was always busy helping so many in every way possible.
Sincerely,

Dear Carreen, Jeff and Jennifer,
It is with profound sadness that I learned of Tom's passing today. Tom and I were close from the age of four and shared the same home room at King Edward School grades one through five. Our friendship never waivered and we were best friends and the best man at each other's weddings. Tom was a stand up guy who could be counted on in every instance. We were closer than most brothers. His mother was like my second mother and his aunt was my aunt. So to say that I share your pain and loss is an understatement. He will always be with me in spirit. Should you need anything please call on me.

Tom’s passing is a huge loss to his family and friends that valued his wisdom, humour and knowledge. His stories of the old South End are especially dear to me as a fellow who grew up on St. James St. The times we spent swimming, solving world issues over coffee, forecasting the future and talking of family will always be important. He will be thought kindly of forever. Take care.
