Terry Parker posted a condolence
Monday, February 8, 2021
Nancy and Dani so sorry for your loss. Although he was much older than me I always remember hearing his name from my sisters Ruth and Joan. I never knew his first name he was just Tinker to me. I look at death with a simple philosophy - my last breath on this earth will be my first breath in heaven. Tinker is waiting for you girls to join him in Gods heavenly kingdom. Terry Parker

So very sad to hear of Uncle Tinker's passing. I have such happy memories of sleepovers with Lynnie, where Tinker, always with that big grin that crinkled his eyes, would tease and entertain us, or come up with outdoor activities for us to do.
With his Tom Selleck-like good looks Tinker would energize a room, and his laughter (almost a giggle) was constant as he was genuinely delighted to be with people. Even as his memory worsened, and he didn't really know who you were or why you were visiting him, his face and eyes would light up in the biggest grin and he was happy to chat away.
Though time and distance meant less frequent visits over the years, I hope that Tinker (and his sweet family) knew that he was loved and will be missed by all of his nieces and nephews.
Sending much love from Heidi ( and all the Martin cousins ).

First cousin Jack (and Ann) Perry. Oh, Tinker, the good times we had bowling and dancing at St. Peter's C. Y. O. With the gang.
The many years we spent fishing. We could tell some good stories. I am your 1st cousin and proud of it. You beat me into this world by six months. Many fond memories.
