Obituary of Lillian Kee

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Lillian Alice (Starkie) Kee on July 5, 2021, at Kennebec Manor Nursing Home.

Mom was born on July 16, 1930, to Arthur H. Jessie M. (Anderson) in Saint John, NB.

Mom attended Victoria School and Saint John High. She worked at Robbins Drug Store.

She met Dad in 1954 and they married in 1956. After the birth of her first child, she was a stay-at-home mom. Mom enjoyed sailing, camping, bowling, and sewing, which she did by hand.

She was predeceased by Dad (Charles), her parents and an older brother, Rantin.

She is survived by the three of us: Charles (Chuck), Catherine (Cathy) (Donnie) and Cynthia (Cindy) (Steven) LeBlanc as well as 3 grandchildren: Charlie, Brandon, and Destiny. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy (Kee) Murchie, many nieces and nephews and special friends Spike, Mr. Peabody, and special cat, Willow.

We would like to thank the staff of 5CS at the SJRH and Kennebec Manor for the care they gave to Mom, and to Dr. Luan Le and Samantha for keeping a good eye on her.

Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
