I left Point Lepreau just a few short years ago and at that time Ina was running around welcoming everyone, sharing her smile and brightening our days... I am in disbelief that Ina has left this earthly plain... My thoughts and prayers go out to Ina's family... especially her grandchildren...

Ina worked with the Human Resources team for many years at Point Lepreau. She was smart, witty, always looked on the bright side of life and she had the special quality of always being able to make you laugh. Ina could fit into any group or team you assigned her to, she wasn't judgmental, she accepted people the way they were. I remember the hilarious stories she would tell us, particularly after her first grandchild, Sadie arrived. She may have missed her calling in life as a stand up comedian. After I left Lepreau in 2010, whenever I saw Ina she always had a smile and had time to stop and chat - that's who she was, welcoming, warm and intelligent. I was very sad to hear about Ina's illness a while ago and when we received the news of Ina's passing last week, those of us in HR who worked with her and knew her well certainly experienced a great sense of loss. Remembering her smile, her kindness and her uplifting spirit have brought a sense of comfort and warmth to the HR team and when we talk about Ina and her many stories, we'll do exactly what she would want us to do - share a laugh in her memory.
With respect and sympathy - Cindy Riley

Our Deepest Sympathy
To send our deepest sympathy
Just doesn't seem like enough.
We know how your grief must burden you,
How this time must be so rough.
But try to believe in your heart of hearts,
That your pain won't last forever,
That sadness will lighten a little each day,
and you'll eventually feel much better.
When that day comes, your memories
Will focus on the good, not the bad.
Instead of feeling burdened by tears,
You'll cherish the happy times you had.
Thinking of each and everyone who loved this beautiful soul
Our hearts are with each of you these past days and in the days ahead
Love
Marilyn & Richard Crawford & Family

On behalf of my wife Julia, and my two daughters Jessica and Jackie, we wish to send our condolences to Aunt Norma, Greg and the rest of the family.
Growing up, I was not as close to Ina Lee as I was with her younger brothers, and as time rolls along we have a tendency drift away from each other and become busy with life. I haven't seen her in years, but the love for her and the family hasn't changed -she will definitely be missed!

I just got word that my beautiful cousin Ina Lee Crawford Janes has gone with the angels, My love and undying respect for this woman is not measurable, when we were small she was like a doll so beautiful every hair was in place her clothes were impeccable and her soft voice and sweet smile was incredibly endearing, And I loved her, as we grew she was that same beauty ahe still had the same charming way about her, To be truthful she was everything that any mother and father could ever wish for, Her laughter was contagious her sense of humour was wonderful she liked to tease me and sometimes I would act even worse just to make her smile, as in most families we grew up and grew apart but I never stopped loving her and remembering the times we did share
I know she’s in heaven with Duke and Daddy, Mama Nanny and Grampy and Uncle Charlie
To
Greg and their children and grandchildren
Her Mother Norma
and her sisters Jackie and Charlene
Her brothers Charley, Barry, Lyman and Kie
God Bless all of you at this terrible time my prayers are with you all

Greg, I'm so very sorry and shocked to read this about Ina. We worked together for years at the sugar refinery and shared so much. Lost touch with her over the years but kept up with what was going on in her life through your son, Nick who I met working with the IBEW. Nick, I am so sorry about your mom. She was a great friend.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Ina in the Projects group during my last four years at Point Lepreau. We worked together in the trailers and she had to pass my office on her way to hers so we saw and interacted with each other many times on a daily basis. We shared many smiles and laughter throughout the years and I truly enjoyed working with her.
I am so sorry for your loss.
