Janes, Ina-Lee –
With heavy hearts and appreciation for a lifetime of memories, the family of Ina-Lee Janes announces her passing, which occurred on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on October 8, 1960, she was a daughter of Norma (Moody) Crawford and the late Barry Crawford.
Ina-Lee will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 40 years, Gregory Janes; her children Nicholas Janes (Donnaleigh), Meaghan Waycott (Matthew) and Zachary Janes (Courtney); her grandchildren that brought so much joy to her life, Sadie, Tavien, Leighton and Brooklyn; siblings Charlene (Donnie), Jackie (Andy), Charlie (Judi), Barry (Jenn), Lyman (Wendy) and Kie (Amalie); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ina worked at Point Lepreau for over 25 years as an ASR. She enjoyed making her own leather covered books that she used for journaling. Her biggest joy was her children and grandchildren, who she loved deeply and unconditionally.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Ina-Lee’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Maces Bay Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
