This is such a great loss. Tracey had so much dignity, kindness, patience, and class. He was such a special person. It was a privilege to be his neighbour and my great fortune to share a friendship with Tracey for over 25 years. Tracey, you will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Claire, Tracey's daughter, Faye, and his other grieving family members and friends. Brian Munro

a Fearful Thing
‘Tis a fearful thing
to love what death can touch.
A fearful thing
to love, to hope, to dream, to be –
to be,
And oh, to lose.
A thing for fools, this,
And a holy thing,
a holy thing
to love.
For your life has lived in me,
your laugh once lifted me,
your word was gift to me.
To remember this brings painful joy.
‘Tis a human thing, love,
a holy thing, to love
what death has touched.
My sincere condolences to Faye and family, Claire and Mary.

We are so sad to hear of Tracy's passing.
I am so thankful that we brought my Dad to Gaspe to see everyone a few years ago. Dad and Tracy were cousins and the stories will always live in my heart.
RIP Tracy

Dear Claire, Faye and family, I was so saddened to hear of Tracy’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Tracy was my first cousin, and he has always been special to me. I now live in South Carolina, but as a little girl I lived in Kingston, Ontario. My family spent summer vacations in the Gaspe’, even after we moved to the United States. I always stayed with my Aunt Margaret and Uncle Joe and had so much fun with my cousins and I got to know Tracy. Later in life I visited fairly frequently and would visit with Claire and Tracy at their chalet’ in St. Jules, Quebec. I would always be given such a wonderful warm welcome.
Tracy had the most wonderful smile and was so congenial and kind always. A real gentleman.
He and Claire were so kind and thoughtful to my mother, Evelyn Caldwell, and sent her flowers when she was in the nursing home. My mom loved visiting the Gaspe’ , her home, and loved spending time with Claire and Tracy.
He was a very special man who brought so much happiness to others, as a father, as a husband, as a brother and as a friend. My husband Don also sends his condolences. May God bless all of you and be with you in the days ahead. Anita and Don Cathcart

I am so sorry for your loss. I was too young to remember meeting my Great Uncle Tracey, but my dad Joseph Brian Cleary shared some fond memories with me. My dad passed away November 18th, so I'm sure they are catching up with one another in heaven.
