Dear Mrs Galbraith & family. I had the pleasure to meet & serve Don as a nurse at St Joseph’s. Then came to know his love of harness racing and our Island connections. My dad has passed but was an owner & supporter of the industry ( John Thompson, Sherwood, PEI and my husband a driver John Grady & his father Gordie Grady of Summerside, PEI. I enjoyed his many stories of the tracks & his adventures but most of all his love for you & his family & friends. It was an honour to meet & get to know Don. Thank you Sheila

My deepest sympathies to Ross and family. I remember when I was a kid being around Don when he would take Gemini Risk over here to race in Summerside. I remember very vividly a night that Gemini Risk won a stake race over here in 1984 in Summerside, and I was just a little boy, probably stuck in the way trying to help. After the race Don gave me $10 for helping. Might as well have been $100! I was so happy! I’ll never ever forget that. And I will never forget Don. Rest In Peace my friend.
