Kevin Watson posted a condolence

On behalf of the Watson family, I wish to Thank everyone for the kind words, memories of my mother, and support given to our family in this time of need.
Mom’s service was exactly how she would have envisioned! Brenan’s Funeral Home was outstanding in organizing our final day with Mom. We cannot say enough positive comments about the staff at Brenan’s, especially our assigned funeral director Monika Ouellet who handled every detail and request made of her!
Mom wanted a traditional burial ceremony, highlighting her Christian faith and surrounded by family (in person and in spirit) - Mom had it all! The music by pianist Barry Snodgrass was amazing; our Pastor Dan Lamos dovetailed Mom’s Christian values throughout the service and interment; my mother’s favourite prayer, read by our cousin Danielle Carson gave us special meaning; our family of pallbearers - grandsons, cousin and brother in law who peacefully laid mom to rest;
and my friend Kevin Scully’s eulogy capturing the essence of my mother and her spirit to perfection! It was the perfect snapshot in time bringing us all together!
Thank you for making our last day with Mom so complete.

Ken, Krista, Michel, Nick, Chris, Jill, Chase, Isabelle & family,
We have learned that grief is not something you ever get to the other side of - it is more something you carry everyday.... but part of that is, in the sharing of, the memories with friends & family - realizing you got to share your life with someone - that you created so much with.
May there be quiet moments in which there is warm reflection in the life you shared with Nellie and memories that make you laugh & smile always.
May you find peace and comfort from those close to you.
Much loves and many hugs,
Pat & Kay

My thoughts are with both the Elms and the Watson family at this time. I remember Kenny working with my father in the woods and that he went out west and worked with Holly Reiker out there. I remember Carol Elms from going to High School at Belleisle, she had a son who attended the cooking program while I was teaching there. May Nelly rest in peace. Steve McCready and family

From the first time I walked into Mrs. and Mr. Watson's home some forty plus years ago, I was made to feel like family.
Mrs. Watson had a good sense of humor, at times dry, so one really had to pay attention during conversations. She was a person of simple needs, God-loving, and honest to a fault.
Mrs. Watson did not have a pretentious bone in her body; she spoke her truth, had relatively no filter, and I found her truly a breath of fresh air. There were no double meanings to sort through or second-gussing what she may have meant. She was unique, real and her genuine self. I both envied and loved those things about her.
She loved her family fiercely. She loved her boys and her daughter; son- in- law and daughters-in-law; treasured her beloved Kenneth, and absolutely cherished her grandchildren.
Rest well Mrs. Watson,
Love, your "other" Kevin
