To the Montgomery family,
I worked with your Mum at SJH for many years and we had a lot of fun. She had that infectious laugh. We loved to tease her. We went to her house to see her crafts and I bought a beautiful shelf from her that she signed for me. It is something I cherish. Thank you Jackie for your kindness, wisdom and your friendship. RIP my friend, until we meet again.

Dear Penney
My daughter Gillian worked with your Mum at St. Joe’s while going to UNBSJ. She always had interesting stories to tell about her. After we moved to the Rifle Range in 2010 I had a few occasions to meet with your Mum. I enjoyed those visits so much. She was a remarkable lady. She will certainly not be forgotten.

A glowing tribute to a radiant lady... I hadn't any contact with Aunt Jackie since I spoke with her at my father's (John Henry McGrattan) funeral service many years ago. Though we were separated by time and distance, I have often thought of her during those intervening years. I will always remember Jackie as a lovely, caring and gentle lady whose smile lit up any room graced by her prescence. My sincere condolences to her family and friends for a loss that cannot be adequately expressed with words.

I was so saddened to hear of Jackie’s passing. She was such a sweetheart. Lots of great times in the kitchen at Foulis Court particularly during the GroundHog Gale. You guys were the only people around with a propane stove so we could make tea and fill hot water bottles . I remember the whole Folk Group huddled around in your kitchen singing and playing guitars…..Robbie on congos.I’m including a photo of Jackie on the ferry to Newfoundland at the wheel wearing the captain’s hat. Penny, Robbie and Roger my thoughts and prayers are with you at this hard time. Your mother was so loved. Anne (MacDonal)Griffin
