Sharon...I am so sorry to read of your mother's sudden passing. It is so difficult when you lose a parent and especially when they are out of town. I remember your Mom and Dad in the mall sometimes and having a chat. I had forgotten your Dad had passed away. It will be 5 years in August since Brian passed away. Cherish the memories that you have. Your friend from the Police Department days.

Sharon - so sorry for your loss. I'll miss your Mom terribly - I never liked talking on the phone but for some reason when your Mom called I knew I was in for an hour and a half to two hours worth of chatting! I loved the drives my Mom and I would go on with her. We never knew exactly where we were going to end up and that was half the fun - the other half was when the two of them would "forget" I was in the back seat and could hear all their stories!!! Hugs.

Shirley was a quiet, generous, non-needy lady; determined with jigsaw puzzles, enjoyed a country road drive, liked checking folks on Facebook, was a foodie who loved eating out & liked a cup of tea with her dessert; loved her evening phone conversations with friends (who surprisingly had hours' worth of info to share) & kept the Hallmark Card Store in business ...I will miss my recent roommate!

Shirley was so sweet, kind, generous and thoughtful. She had a wonderful insight into how to give the best advise. She never complained and found joy in everything. My life was truly blessed because she was a great part of it. I will truly miss you my dear cousin and friend. I am so sorry for our great loss Sharon. Love Lee Hansemann
