I (Jane) met Doug in junior high and we graduated together from high school. For many years I rarely saw him but then we ended up as teaching colleagues and socialized frequently together. I know he will be missed by his family and many friends. Our condolences, Don and family.

Doug and I were snowbird neighbours for 6 months during six years, soon after his retirement. We ate together, golfed together and had happy hour every day at 4pm. He never spoke unkindly of anyone and laughed often! A very special man! My condolences to Don and his nieces and nephews that he spoke of often. He was so proud of your lives and careers. Dougie Boy will be missed by all that knew him.
