Dear Donnie, Kim, Jocelyn, Eric and Wayne, so sorry to hear about Barb. We spent many years working together at RBC King St. Most enjoyable. When we would get calls to fix banking machines after hours, she would bring little Eric with her. Many memories. Thoughts and prayers are with you the family.

It is with great sadness that I've heard of the passing of Barb Stevens. I knew both Barb and Donnie well, first meeting Barb as my loans officer for RBC when I was first starting my newlywed life. Barb was always supportive and offered sound financial and relationship advise to a very young and scared couple. I next met Barb's other half when I began my career in provincial government as a corrections officer. Donnie was my supervisor on many occasions as I rotated between shifts. He took me under his wing and guided me through some difficult learning opportunities as I began to grow into a professional officer.
Both these fine individuals always showed kindness and support to a scared young adult and my family and both had a hand in developing the person I eventually became.
To the entire Stevens / Orr families may you be blessed by the lord as you grieve the death of your mother and grandmother, sister and aunt and friend. Please know that we grieve with you as we remember the good people, family and friends your parents were, they will remain in our thoughts and prayers and will not be forgotten.
RIP BARB
