Dear, sweet Barb. I just heard this morning. I am so incredibly sad to hear of Al's passing. I truly loved that man and loved tormenting him whenever I had the chance. He always enjoyed turning the tables on me. Just being around you and Al brought me Laughter, pure unbridled joy! He will be greatly missed and my heart goes out to you, Barb. May the good Lord hold you close in this time of such great loss. Much love, Sue

Barb, I am so very sorry to see this. What a nice picture of Dobby! He & Ken always got along so very well, all those many years at Hydro. I always liked seeing you both at the hockey games. Ken thought a lot of Dobby, and I found him to be kind and a gentleman indeed. May God protect your heart and hold you close and I pray you have many good memories to cherish!

My uncle Sonny Nordstrom and Al were dear friends. As I was growing up, baseball was all about Sonny and Al. I managed to send a message to him recently following a conversation with his nephew, a friend of my son-in-law's. To me, "play ball" is all about Sonny and Al, their legacy and all that they have passed to the youth of today. My thoughts are with you... Lynn Lawson
