Malcolm & I offer sincere condolences to all the family on Uncle Lloyd’s passing. Many memories from over the years, but the earliest is from the Exhibition, and Lloyds kindness in helping all of Tom & Grace’s kids enjoy it to the fullest! Lloyd was blessed with a long life and large family who will no doubt treasure all the memories made over the years. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all in your loss. May Lloyd rest in peace .

Grand-papa, A beloved and humble man, who’s devotion to family and community inspired many. Simplicity sums up your grounded and calculated approach to life. Your soft words of wisdom were inspiring, to all. I sit here in tears, missing you. Missing our long chats. Mostly conversations of the olde days, exchanging “war stories” that only a soldier would understand. Exaggerated at times, yes; but it was fun, grand-papa. I remember the time at dads funeral when you whispered to me, “the bag pipes get me every time, son” I agreed. This time the bag pipes are for you, I salute you, I love you. Soldier up you’d say, not this time, grand-papa. Your now with gram and papa, tell them hello for us, all of us - I/we all love and miss you - John

Mike and I are so sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. I have very fond memories of him as I was growing up. I even called him grampy. Steph and I would go to the Exhibition every summer. Quite often our first stop would be the spider to see him. If he hadn't given Steph tickets in advance. He hand her off a bunch, and off we would go for the day. Always to return to ride the spider. He always treated me just like one of the grandchildren. Maybe because I was there so often.
Knowing almost all of you for this many years, I've felt like part of the family. He is now at rest with Kay. And will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
