Obituary of Lloyd Owens
It is with great sadness that the family of Arthur Lloyd Owens announces his passing, which occurred on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick on May 22, 1927, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mildred Owens.
Lloyd is survived by his daughters Marjorie (Gerald), Iona (Jim), Mildred (Jim), Kathy (Mike); his son Lloyd; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his beloved wife of 69 years Kathleen “Kay” Owens (nee Savoy), Lloyd was predeceased by his sons Billy and Edward; daughter Gordoniea; great-granddaughter; Chloe; and his siblings Helen, Dot, Tommy, Gordon, Herbie, and Joe.
Family and friends will be received at Brenan’s Funeral Home (634-7424), 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, on Thursday, July 21, 2022. from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm; where a Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday morning at 11 am. For those unable to attend, the Liturgy will be live-streamed via the Funeral Home website.
