I fondly remember Mr. Soulikias. As a teenager I always took my shoes to him to be repaired. He had a friendly welcoming smile and always had time to chat. I am sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.

I have known Jimmy since I was a young lad born and brought up un Fairville, where he had his Shoe Repair on Main Street West. He was always friendly and I visited him in his shoe shop on Charlotte St. when walking the beat as a Police Officer. He would always ask about my family. He was a wonderful man. My deepest condolences to his family for their loss.

Thank you. I remember that shop on Main Street, i think it was 36 Main street and later he had one farther down close to the brewery area. I wonder if I ever met you as a kid.

We at the Beatty called Jim Papa.... he continued to repair shoes and handbags until he sold his sewing machine 4 yrs ago. He was quick to help anybody in need .You could always have a great visit with him. He will be missed by all, in the Beatty and uptown where he went every day. RIP and say Hi to Constance for me. To Jimmy's Family , We will always remember your dad as a friendly happy man with a wonderful smile . He enjoyed many chats and visits with my dad Roy McDonough ( an uptown police office ) he still talks about his good friend jimmy . To the Family & Friends of Jimmy I send my condolences. One of my first jobs was at Mother Natures on Charlotte st and we loved seeing Jimmy's smiling face on a daily basis. He always left the staff with a laugh and smiles. Also i must say he did excellent work on my footwear as well as purses. RIP Jimmy
