My heartfelt condolences to Doug’s family, and all who are feeling his loss. For several years when I was young and still living in Saint John, Doug and I were good friends. Although I haven’t seen him in many years now, when I heard of his passing it brought back so many memories of fun times and laughter. Rest in peace my old friend.

Doug was an important part of my youth. I wish I had seen more of him, but I moved to Ontario and did not make it home much. He was the last of his generation and will be missed.

Doug was my Uncle and I remember him going to Moms house for Easter regularly. We would always hang out, eat and have conversations about anything.. In the past year he would meet up with my son Richard almost every day for coffee and Doug would give Richard useful advice.. Doug will be missed by Family and Friends, Fly high with the Angels Doug and we will meet again…Love Ken and Carol..
