My Dearest Godmother.. you are finally at rest..I will forever miss our visits and talks and the one two three kisses ♥️ . You were beautiful, brilliant, successful, organized, driven, talented and the best cooker/ baker. What I wouldn’t give to have one more bowl of seafood chowder at your house but I will keep those memories in my heart along with all the gatherings for Birthdays Anniversaries, Christmas and so on.. You survived many obstacles because you had a strong will to live. I hope I can have a quarter of that strength in the future. You were fortunate to have many trips with your Husband and Family.. I’m so sorry we never made it to Hungary together but if I ever do you will be with me in my heart
Rest In Peace now..
Your Loving Goddaughter Zsuzsi ♥️

Dearest Jim and Pam, Raymond and families. I wanted to express our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your mother on behalf of my mother and myself. Your mother growing up was always like a second mother to Maria and I. She always made sure our Hungarian Community stayed close whether we were at the point in Darlings Island, Oak Point Beach, or at one of many gatherings at your family home. Your mother was always the ring leader if there was fun to be had, she loved being the center of attention and surely made us laugh. Her smile was warm and laugh contagious. She always put up with all of us as kids causing havoc in your basement and smoothing things over when we all became a little rowdy. Will always remember her in the good old days. I hope you can take comfort in knowing she is reunited with those that passed before her especially your father and Peter. What really comes to mind when I think of your mother is the song "I Did It My Way". She loved life and surely enjoyed it to the fullest. Sending you all much love and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Very sorry I could not make it home to pay my respects and be with you all. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Sending Hugs. Rest In Peace Magdi Neni .

My heart goes out to all of Magdi's family both near and far. I came to know Magdi through a Hungarian Women's group that gathered each month usually at a local restaurant, in friendship and to practice "our Hungarian". Magdi was so very proud of her Hungarian heritage. She often talked with me about history, the famous poets, and how she and her dear Imre came to Canada, as a very young married couple during the Hungarian Revolution. Everything - from the way she decorated her home, to the fabulous meals she prepared, to her lovely accent, was Hungarian through and through.
When we were together, she always invited me to "beszeljunk magyarul", and we did : )
Richard and I miss you very much. Rest in peace, lovely Magdi.

My dearest friend, Magdi...
..
How it hurts to look on here and face the reality of your Loss. My deepest condolences to ALL your family....your many friends and acquaintances... I will forever remember you and now I grieve your absence...but take refuge in the knowledge that you are with God: and your wonderful husband Imre & son Peter & your parents/etc.
Magdi your friendship over the decades has always been consistent....and kind and warm and a blessing. My regret is we were unable to travel together to Hungary...but I will get there some day and when I do, I will look to the Heavens and speak with you.
You were such an intelligent financial advisor: hard-worker: honest ...reliable...fair....and how you cared for people....esp the elderly- going to their homes with kindness...facts ...and friendship in their time of need. It makes it so unfair the treatment you received under our Medical care....in your time of need. If only you had had a Magdi..
Your Love and Devotion to your sons and grandchildren was beyond words. I am sure they appreciated you and your thoughts to them in the end. How lucky they were to have you. and how lucky I was to have your friendship.
RIP dear Magdi.
Love MiLinda (Linda) Rackley

To all the Nyers family I worked with Magdi at Zellers for many many years and she was such a sweet lady. I remember her and her diets that she was on for 20 years and never lost weight. Her smile would always brighten your day.Zellers gave me many great lifetime friends and Magdi was included as one of them such a sweet sweet lady I was blessed to know her for such a long time. I loved her accent and I was mesmerized when I saw her on the dance floor, wow what moves. I am so sorry for your loss I know it's a huge one for all of you.

Dear family:
We are so sorry for your loss. Magdi was a doer and a great organizer. There were many fun filled times at house parties, Sunday gatherings at Oak Point beach, the early times at the Mediterranean restaurant when they had a dance floor - and dance she could!
Once again she is beside her loving husband Imre who she loved dearly and son Peter. Rest in peace Magdi.
