Obituary of Magdolna Roza Nyers

It is with sadness that the family of Magdolna Roza Nyers announce her passing at Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday August 25, 2023.

Survived by her sons Jim (Pam) and Raymond; grandchildren Jamie (Natassia), Natasha (Darryl) Edmonton, Alberta, Matthew (Annabelle) Lake Stevens, Washington, PJ (Hilary), Monica, Ashley, Michelle, Edmonton, Alberta, Alex and Vicky, and 11 great grandchildren Logan, Jayden, Brayden, Sarya, Landon, Emery, Otis, Peyton, Bryceton, Mirabelle and Maxwell.

In addition to her parents, Magdi was predeceased by her husband Imre and son Peter.

She will be sadly missed by her Hungarian friends here, as well as friends and family in Hungary.

The family will receive friends and family at Brenan’s Funeral Home (506-634-7424), 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 10am until the time of the Funeral Liturgy at 12 noon. A reception will immediately follow the service, with interment in Fernhill Cemetery thereafter.
