Sincere condolences to Frances’s daughters and family. We got to know Richard and Frances through UCTJack Kidd Council Saint John. Frances despite her health issues was a driving force of the 1995 Winter Special Olympic committee. She was a hard worker, good organizer and her contribution to our council was always appreciated. Thinking of you all at this time.

Sincere condolences to both daughters of Frances McBurney Hatt. I grew up with Frances on Wright Street and we went to Winter Street School together, played together as children and hung around throughout our teen years. Frances was very popular and to all the dances, had lots of boyfriends, wore the best skirts. Both her parents were friends with my parents, attending Parent/Teacher nights and played cards together on Saturday nights. We were a very tight community growing up on Wright Street. As we grew older, Frances moved to Douglas Avenue and my family moved to the north end but I attended Saint John Vocational School and Frances went to Saint John High. We had mutual friends growing up (Clifford Ruthen, Carolyn Beattie VanBuskirk, Bill Martin, Billy Scullion) just to name a few. You can be sure Frances made a difference in her life as she was always a very positive, happy individual.
You will miss her but her life mattered and she cared very deeply. So very sorry for your great loss. Lots of hugs from her old childhood friend, Frances MacDaid Meehan.

Karen and Krista, My sincerest condolences on the passing of your beloved Mom. She was my dear friend from Grade seven at Princess Elizabeth School through high school at Voc as we grew up together. She was always a force to be reckoned with and a good soul. I visited her in Riverview in 2019 and we shared some memories. I always loved her and knowing she is gone will leave a hole in my heart.
