Suzanne was a sweet, kind and a quiet confident superhero of a female physician. I had the privilege of being her student and colleague. She was a constant support to me throughout my time as a resident and staff. She rescued me numerous times with locum coverage and, without her I would not have had a maternity leave with my first child. She was a champion of women’s health and was a constant positive influence wherever she went. A beautiful soul taken from this world too soon, but a life and legacy never forgotten.
Sincerest condolences Tom & Sophie

When Suzanne was born, I imagine one person cried while all others were smiling. Today, I would like to think that while all others are crying, one is smiling. I fully expect she is smiling while looking down from heaven! Many years have passed since we were in our youth. I recall fondly, our families sharing Christmas dinner. In the years that have passed, I was lucky enough to see you on two occasions in the last 10 years. Conversation seemed to pick up from where it left off some many years earlier. Your smile had not changed. Your easy demeanour was still the same. You were still Suzanne. I will always remember Suzanne from the 70’s and the 2010’s as they were one and the same. And why not, you were perfect as you were! Condolences go to your entire family and everyone that was touched by you Suzanne.you will not be forgotten!

She’d bring us healthy snacks and help care for our laboring moms/ families when we were experiencing a crazy shift. Loved working with her; she was a true friend to all she encountered. What an amazing woman! Condolences to the family. Kerry C.

I ache with sympathy for our world without this extraordinary woman no longer with us. My sympathies go to Suzanne's family and friends. My heart and prayers are with you Tom and Sophie. If you were lucky in this life time to have encountered and share time with Suzanne you'd have to agree she was "the best of the best! The warmth of her personality could break down the shell of protection we sometimes hold and you knew you were in "safe space". I had described her as the "best of the best." If you want to feel uplifted by witnessing the goodness in humanity take time to read her consolation posts. We are all lost at this time. Her example of life lived "better than well" graces our memories. Her Spirit is still with us! She is with/in Sacred Space. Love Rosemarie Roy

My heart is heavy today with the news of Dr Roberts passing. I had a few consultations before any medical professional took me seriously regarding a lump on my thyroid. She immediately took my concern and made it her own. She saved my life. I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for her. She was the most compassionate, kindest, and sweetest soul. She cried with me, the two of us, when I attended appointments alone during the pandemic. We eventually laughed when we couldn’t cry no more. She held out her hand during the darkest time in my life and told me if I needed anything, she was there and that I would be okay. Her presence during that time had immeasurable value and it is one I will cherish and hold dear to my heart.
My heart goes out to her loved ones and the medical community who have lost a giant.
