Dear Alisa, Sarah and family,
My condolences on the passing of your beloved father and grandfather John. I knew John from working with him at HPL and had many great conversations in our lunch room always talking healthy eating, gardening, travelling and most of all family. He was so very proud of his daughters. He was a kind and giving human being who will be missed dearly. May the memories you all made and the precious times spent together remain cherished within your hearts. Those memories will sustain you in the days, weeks and months ahead.,Speak his name often as his memory will be kept alive in your hearts.
Deepest condolences,
Ernesta (Ernie) Fritz

I am so sorry for your family's loss. John was my best friend and part of our family. John was kind, generous and the most giving person I know. He was always there for me. Words cannot express how wonderful he was, or how much we will miss him. For sure God has made him one of his special angels. John, my brother we love you and we will miss you dearly, but I know I will see you again one day in the afterlife. Dan and Gina Fabello, and Elita.

Dear Alisa, Sarah, Margaret and John's extensive family. I knew John very well from HPL and so treasured his friendship. We chatted often and he wanted to get a sewing machine for one of you girls. We discussed it alot to find something that would work for a new sewer, as he was wanting to get the 'perfect' gift for you. He also did some work at my home for me to install a central vac and other jobs, I needed help with. Such a great person and a good friend. He related some stories each time I saw him about hiking the Bruce Trail, kayaking in Cootes and other outdoor activities. However he spent the greatest amount of time talking about his girls and how much he loved them. They featured so much in all conversations and were the centre of his world. He spoke of family and growing up in NB, and wanting to get back there. I am glad he was able to go 'home' but so sad for your loss. John will always be remember by those of us from HPL who knew him well as kind, caring, funny and a most wonderful friend. My sincere sympathy to you all. Sandi
