to Stephen , Ann and families: I am so sorry for your loss, David and I have been friends these past 60 years . In earlier years Dave was in my house a lot and we shared many a laugh. my mother and dad liked David every much too. We attended the same church and high school and later the same university and had some classes together;David was best man at my first wedding and is
God Father to my youngest son.David visited my home a lot and had a great relationship with my sons John, Gordon and Andrew and while I was working he would take them places and was like a 2nd father to them They all love him and are deeply saddened at his loss.David was a great guy, a good Christian man and I was very honored to have him as my friend all these years.

So very sorry to learn of David's passing. He was a pleasure to work with- very helpful to co-workers and clients. I especially enjoyed running into him outside of work. He kept up with people and shared all the news. David spoke passionately about his volunteer work and various endeavours and always had kind things to say about people. David was an exceptional mentor to him and others, he was a loyal, hard working, dedicated Ys Men. We both enjoyed our many conversations with David. My condolences to Dave's,sister,Anne,brother,Stephen,and families.Dave was a true gentleman,very sincere and honest friend. I met,Dave through the,running club,he was a great long distance runner,and coach.He did a lot of volunteering with the Special Olympics,very kind man.Dave,was a JRYG3great story teller,had a wonderful sense of humour. I will miss Dave,but Iam grateful to have met him.
