Jacqueline, Michelle, and Marjorie, I am so heartbroken for all of you in the loss of your cherished husband and father. I considered him like a brother and had the utmost respect for him. Greg was one of the kindest, gentlest souls I have ever met. I know he loved each of you, and his grandchildren, with all his heart. I am so grateful God brought him into your lives when he did. Dear Jacqueline, I know that you were the love of his life, and you cared for him well in these last years. My prayer is that God will comfort all of you as only He can do. I send my deepest condolences and all my love.

Dear Jacqueline and Family: Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your dear husband Greg. I had the privilege of working for Greg for over 10 years. He had been my boss, my mentor and my dear friend. I can’t be where I am today without him. He had made a great impact in my life. What he usually said really defines who he was as a husband “Happy wife, Happy life”. Rest in peace my friend. God has you now.

To Jacqueline and family ; Please accept my sincere condolences on your deep loss of Greg . As a former Fire Chief and as a City Councillor I had the pleasure of interacting with Greg . I also golfed with Greg a number of years ago , a real stickler for the rules . Of course that was Greg and the way he carried out his duties and responsibilities as the Commissioner of Finance . He acted the way one would expect of a Commissioner of Finance , honest, straight forward , a man of integrity . Having said that he was not always a serious person he enjoyed a good laugh and yes he enjoyed life to the fullest. I'm certain Greg will be sadly missed . May you rest in peace Greg and may God Bless you

Doris and I met Greg and Jaquelin at our small group bible study in Sherwood Park Alberta. We both quickly became friends for we both shared the same passion for life and for our Savior Jesus.
We spend many evenings singing songs having meals together we even shared their wedding anniversary before they left to move back to New Brunswick. I will miss Greg's sense of humor and his quick comebacks. I remember Greg as a cheerful, happy guy who dearly loved his wife Jaquelin, his family and still had room to love others. He has left a huge hole in our life and heart, but we will will meet again in heaven.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family as our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Yeomans Family.
I first encountered Greg when I joined the Finance Department of the City of Saint John in 1993. Greg’s passion was noticeable right away. His breadth of knowledge on almost any subject showed his keen interest in learning. He had a great interest in continual improvement and technology which he manifested in the administration of his departments. He was always supportive of better ways of doing things and supportive of his team.
Greg accumulated friends wherever he went. Greg introduced me to curling and our finance team had great success under his leadership as ‘Skip”. I enjoyed celebrating Greg’s 40th birthday with him in Utah and our deep, deep conversations especially some while we were stuck in the Minneapolis-St. Paul and Boston airports.
He was deeply committed to his community. He was the driver for many innovative ideas to better the City. One that I remember, showed his interests outside of finance, which was exploring an IMAX theatre for Saint John.
A few years ago, during the years Greg was working in Alberta, I came across him collecting for the “Christmas Kettle” in the pedway while he was home for a visit. This was Greg! I last ran into Greg in Halifax at a CPA conference a few years ago. We had a great chat and we caught up on all the happenings in our lives.
Greg exhibited passion, stalwartness, fairness and compassion in everything he did. He was a thoughtful friend and a passionate leader. He is missed in our community. My memories of Greg will be treasured. My condolences to you.

So sad to hear of Greg's passing. My sincere condolences to Jackie and family. I worked with Greg for six years at the City of Saint John. He was a kind, patient, understanding and intelligent human being, treated everyone with respect and kindness and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Finance Department under his leadership. He was very good to me and was the best "boss" I've ever worked for.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Greg's passing. Greg gave me my first opportunity at the City and I considered him more than a boss, but also a mentor and friend. I spent the last two days thinking of Greg and all I could do was smile (as I am sure many of you do too when thinking of him). I think of a someone with principles, someone with compassion for others, someone who when he talked to you was genuinely interested and you had his undivided attention, someone who could make you belly laugh with his crazy sense of humor, and finally someone who had a passion for life - Passion for football with his Baltimore Ravens, Passion for Music (the Beatles and Rocky Racoon), his passion for his team he led at work (Greg would go through a brick wall for his Finance Team). But most importantly, his passion for his family, there was nothing more important to Greg and he would light up when speaking about his beloved Jacqueline. My sincerest condolences to Jacqueline and family. Greg had a profound impact his community, and on my life and I will never forget him.

I first met Greg when I was elected to Saint John City Council in the spring of 2012. He was the Commissioner of Finance at that time, and I met him immediately as the City's financial situation was "my thing". Greg was very patient with me over the years we worked together as I usually (if not always) had more questions and took more of his time than most of my colleagues.
In addition to his loving family, Greg will also be sadly missed by many people who worked with him at City Hall.
My sincere sympathy at this very sad time.
