My mother, late Beulah McCaughan, was one of Beulah's clients for many years when we lived on Millidge Avenue. I have fond memories as a young girl walking with Mom to Victoria Street so she could get her hair done. Mom didn't have to insist I go with her, I always wanted to as I really liked it there. Then, I decided (much to my father's not liking), that I wanted my (the longest I have ever had) hair cut. Over the years, longing for long hair again, I often think of Beulah Lamb for cutting my hair, lol. My mom was not only a client of Beulah's, they became friends also. Oh the memories when our minds walk down memory lane. I live in Sussex now and get emails from Brenan's. When I saw Beulah Lamb, I thought, no that's not "our" Beulah Lamb. However, reading the obit I realized it was. Please accept my condolences to all her family and know that I will be thinking of you during the difficult days to come. Sincerely . . .
