You always had a joke, always had a smile, and always had a heart to help others. God used you greatly in helping me grieve my dad’s death, your uncle Hibbert. You have been a faithful friend to David and me ever since, never forgetting an anniversary – always reaching out with a call. We will miss our annual February get together with you and Ann at the Fredericton Inn Restaurant. It was your turn to pay this year, you skunk! Love you so so much, Dave. We will see you in heaven, thanks be to God for the gift of His Son who has made this possible for us all! Love to all my dear cousins, Dave’s family and friends who may read this, I am so so sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathy to David’s family and many friends from myself and my family. Those who knew him through the years likely have great stories of his kindness and wit.
I enjoyed memorable rounds of golf with Dave and will always remember that he bought me my first set of real golf clubs, and we shared great times at Westfield, Rockwood Park, Gowan Brae and St Andrews. It was at St. Andrews that I hit a ball across the street and into a gas station, so Dave just had to take us there after the round to ask for the golf ball back - for the young fella hiding in the back seat!
I also learned a great life lesson from Dave: the longshoremen were on strike in the late 80’s and somehow a police cruiser tipped over! I saw the report on TV, and later asked Dave what happened - to which he naturally replied “I don’t know, I wasn’t there”. That was Dave: you couldn’t out-smart him and you sure couldn’t out-dress him.
Thanks for everything Dave, you did a lot for me.
