Remembering my Aunt Lucetta. I was lucky that she flew to Alberta for my graduation (as pictured looking very Pretty in Peach) and my wedding. As a child I would have sleepovers at her place. We would stay up late watching movies and eating junk food. It was just like hanging out with a friend even with the age difference. I genuinely enjoyed spending time with her while I was growing up.

Lu.. it has taken me awhile to be able to post anything. I miss you so much I will remember our trips to oncology and to the hospital and visiting you at Kings Way as often as I could. I still wake up and wonder why the phone is not ringing with one of the many calls each day from you. You are back in Mom's arms now and that brings me peace. You fought your battle with a grace and strength that I hope I show as well when my time comes. You touched so many lives and I will carry you with me everyday my beautiful big sister Lu. Dad misses you too. He said you were his first baby girl and you stole his heart at first sight! Love Deb.

I'm sorry to hear of Lucetta's passing. I worked with Lucetta at Bell Aliant. She was a lovely and caring woman. I was dealing with some health issues and Lucetta called me at home to see how I was and if I heard of a new medication that came out. May your family be wrapped in wings of comfort during this difficult time.

Sorry to hear of Lucetta passing we were friends from childhood .Her father worked with the seaman Mission and they visited our church regularly. She also worked at Telephone company were I worked .My concelence go out to her family and friends she fought such a courageous battle with cancer! Rest in peace Lucetta!

I was sorry to hear of Lucettas passing.I worked with Lucetta in Operator Services for many years. She always greeted me with a smile and was always ready to pass on any training item, as she had a great memory. When Lucetta lost one of her much loved cats my daughter gave her a cat. I will never forget how happy she was when I brought the cat to her. She had taken a taxi to the mall and purchased food, toys and anything she thought the new addition to her house would need. RIP Lucetta

Lucetta, so dear, my sister with the long ebony hair. You called me "the baby" until I was ten. You bought me every Nancy Drew book and aloud you would read them. We shared a bedroom for a year or so, and I always loved having you around, for you were my big sister. As a young adult, I would go to the 1880s with you. Sometimes, I would get the 3 am phone calls from you. You just wanted to chat. I was looking forward to seeing you again so soon. It breaks my heart that you will not be there when I go home this time. Our family of six, is now a family of four. Mom and you are together now, and in a better place. But oh, how we will miss you.
